Works well

Works exactly as described. Easy to install, just be sure to install over a space the car does not occupy so that you can then place a ladder to adjust where the laser spot falls to indicate correct parking.

Great little device

The best thing is that it works with just the battery and has motion detection, so it should not drain the battery much. We'll see how long the battery lasts before I run and extension cord or install an extra receptacle.

Parking in the garage has never been so easy!

A neighbor told us about his motion detecting, laser parking assistant device. We bought one and it does exactly what we need! Our garage is tight, so getting the cars in far enough to allow the main garage entry door to close, and not obstructing our entry to our kitchen required some attention before we got this device. It took about 15 minutes to install and adjust. Now we know when we're safely positioned inside the garage and don't need to constantly check before closing the main garage entry door! These things are a great idea. Just one caution: the aiming lights are real lasers, so be mindful not to look directly into the light beam.

Every garage should have one

Im a 68 year old women and set this up by myself. I did need to get on a ladder up to the 10 foot ceiling, but easy to attach and adjust. It works so well. I recommend it highly.

Works better than a piece of wood on the floor!

After having a similar device at our previous house, my wife wanted something similar for our new place. The new garage dimensionally small and the steps into the house are located in front of where my wife parks. It is very easy to park against the steps and this prevents that for her. I am using both pointers to guide parking and it works very well. She's happy so I'm happy!

The indicator is mounted on the ceiling in the center of the garage about 3' from the front wall. I attached the mount it to a ceiling stud with a long drywall screw and snapped it into place. I then pulled the car into the desired location and adjusted the pointers to the desired place on the dash (in front of the steering wheel on the dash) and called it a day. My wife noted the location and parks so they are in a similar place. I spend 15-20 minutes on the install with the help of appropriate beverages.
